Dawn and Dusk ch 5

Chapter 5

Zelda moved her finger slowly along the arm of her throne her other hand twirling the piece of white hair that had fallen off of Link. "The plan isn't working…quite as predicted.' Her voice was much darker than normal. "Oh but that's just a small set back of course. It won't be hard to get rid of her. I think I'll go visit someone first of course.' She slowly stood up and held the white hair in her hand. An evil grin rose on her face as she lit the hair on fire with her magic and then letting the ashes fall to the floor. "As easy, as that.'  She then casually turned towards the stair case and headed towards her room.

Having entered her large and luxurious room she shut the door and locked it. Not wanting anyone to come in and see what was going on she walked to her dresser. Pulling out one she reached inside pulling out a mirror shard. "Here we go.' She then focused her magic causing the mirror to spark and shadows shot out from it. Zelda's body then dissembled, as she was transported to the Twilight Realm.

Her body then reappeared with the Twilight Palace. She then with a slight skip to her step made her way into the throne room Who sat on it was not Midna, the true princess of the twilight. It was a familiar figure though. One which had caused Link, Zelda, and many others so many problem's in the past.  "Master Ganondorf~' Zelda smiled as she spun into the throne room her dress lifting up slightly.

Ganondorf having been resting his head on his hand propped up on the arm of the throne looked over at her. "Ah Zelda, welcome back.' He grinned such a smile wound send shivers down the bravest heros spines.  "What of the fairy boy? Have you done your assignment yet?' His voice though low was full of power. Which would make sense of course being the wielder of the Triforce of Power.



Zelda's smile quickly faded "I'm sorry master….there have been some…altercations. Seems like someone else has entered the picture.' She gulped seeing the look of anger upon Ganondorfs face. Fear of punishment quickly filling her and chilling her to the bone. She gasped as Ganondorf raised his hand. "Please sir…' she was quickly cut off as her body flew as if someone had thrown her hitting marble pillar hard. "ow!.' She slowly slid down the pillar her back it a thin trail of blood trickling down her face. "I won't fail master! I just need more time!'

Ganondorfs anger didn't need words. It was obvious in his face and actions that he was more than pissed. Raising his hand he motioned his finger causing Zelda to fly to him floating slightly off the ground in front of him. He looked into her eyes with his piercing and dark ones. "Get out of this detestable outfit. It's giving me a headache.' After saying such he dropped her to the ground. Uncaring as always.

Zelda looked up at him with a look of fear, sadness, and compassion. "Of course, anything for you master.' She took a few steps back and closed her eyes as body and clothes began to change. Her usual bright colored outfit began taking on shade of black with lines of grey throughout it. Her hair then began to turn from bright blond to grey. Finally her eyes began to change to red. 'Does this form please you more Master?' In truth she loved Ganondorf. He was the one who had freed her from Zelda. She was known to the few who knew about her existence as Dark Zelda.

"Yes.' Ganondorf smiled. "I don't care for those bright and girly colors. Now tell me, who is this new….'competition' 'His look went from anger to interest as he sat back on the throne.

Zelda then began to tell the story of Ammy, she used the name Okami in place for that's the only name she knew. Knowing the skills of Zelda she had used them to become a sheik, a master of stealth. The nights she had been 'asleep' or 'away' she had been spying on Link. So she told him the story of how Link had met the white wolf and then how the wolves could both become human. As she spoke of Ammy jealousy was easily heard in her voice. In her mind that damn she wolf had stolen Link away from her. That was not going to stand.

Ganondorf showed no emotion during Zeldas briefing. His hand though gripped the arm of the throne and crushed it. This was not according to plan. For Link to be out of the picture Ganondorf had come up with a plan. Having kidnaped Zelda he had given her shadow form making Dark Zelda. Improsoning the real Zelda in the Twilight Palace he would have Dark Zelda take her place. Her job was simple enough he though. To seduce Link, get him alone, than end him. He knew a normal assassination wouldn't work. Link was always on the alert. "Blasted elf…' He growled.

"Master'  Dark Zelda bowed "Shall I go check on the prisoner' A small yet evil grin growing on her face.'

Ganondorf gave a flick of his hand sending her away instead of saying yes. As he watched Dark Zelda leave he stood up and walked over to one of the windows in the giant throne room. Looking outside at the Twilight Realm he sighed. "How long before I get what is rightfully mine!' his hand began to glow with dark magic as his anger grew. Having been defeated once again by that elf aided by that imp girl he knew this plan had to work.

The screams of a familiar voice rang through the Twilight Palace. "I'll NEVER TELL YOU! ANYTHING THAT WILL HELP YOU KILL LINK!' the real Zelda spoke from a chamber not far away "I ALSO KNOW YOU CAN'T KILL ME OR ELSE YOU DIE TO YOU FAKE!' The sound of a spit and then a slap could be heard.

Ganondorf himself couldn't help but laugh imagining the chained up Zelda spitting on Dark Zelda.

Dark Zeldas voice rang just as loud. "YOU PEASENT! I'LL TAKE YOU TO THE BRINK OF DEATH! I'LL MAKE YOU TALK EVENTUALLY!'

Ganondorf knew that Dark Zelda was torturing Zelda the best she could but he knew they were limited in not being able to threaten her life. There was…another life they could threaten though. As if his guards had heard his thoughts a group of them burst into his throne room.

The biggest of the dark guards spoke. "We found her sir! We found the princess of the realm and have her cornered! It's only a matter of time!'

Ganondorf gave a slight chuckle 'Bring her here than.' With that the guards left leaving Ganondorf to his evil planning.  Half an hour had passed before an even larger group of guards came in. Dragging with them a large figure with a bag over her head and chained up. The guards roughly dragged her in front of Ganondorf and one kicked the back of the prisoner making her fall to her knees. Ganondorfs grin grew as he pulled off the bag. "Midna, welcome to your new home.'
